A great opportunity exists for a seasoned Human Resources professional to provide timely and appropriate employment law and industrial relations advice for a large Not For Profit experiencing major change.
Reporting to the Human Resources lead, this role is responsible for providing high level, timely and appropriate employment law and industrial relations advice having regard for legislation, current industrial instruments and the workplace environment. On a daily basis this will involve undertaking Dispute Resolution, guiding the business on Disciplinary Matters, Discrimination and Bullying /Harassment investigations and cases, and Injured Workers cases. You may be responsible for representing the organisation in courts and working with internal and external stakeholders, assisting with the preparation/review of relevant documentation in relation to legal matters and mediation.
You will be a self starter with strong stakeholder management skills who is experienced in managing a Generalist Human Resources portfolio with a strong lean on Industrial Relations. You will manage issues professionally and quickly whilst building trust and embed positive change.
It is essential that you have worked in the disability, community or aged care sector. You will also have had the responsibility of solving IR issues and managed the design, restructure and skills mapping of staff.
