Does networking make your stomach churn?

Emma Egan

I love meeting new people. I love hearing their stories and learning about what motivates them. Some call it networking……

We have all been to those boring networking events where you exchange business cards, walk out of the room and never look back.

There is rarely any value in these connections, because they don’t evolve into something meaningful. You might see their name on LinkedIn and wonder how you met and does anyone even own a “card holder” anymore?

So how do you make it meaningful?

Start attending our meet up series – I promise that it will be a relaxed forum where you meet like minded professionals and be able to have some real discussions – we keep the groups small. And please give us feedback if it does make your stomach churn.
