Outplacement and Career Transition is for individuals or groups who need to go through the process of finding a new job after being made redundant. Services are appropriate for employees at any level who have either found that their position has been made redundant or where there has been a mutually agreed resignation.
The program provides your employees with intensive one on one assistance to help them transition into a new role. It includes 4 x 1-hour career consultations either face to face in Sydney CBD or online via Zoom.
These days, image is everything. Outplacement solutions promote a great company reputation, demonstrate your commitment to current and former staff, and showcase your ability to provide the solutions employees need, such as access to job boards, resume and LinkedIn guidance, networking connections and interview skills. These ex-employees will continue to be brand ambassadors for your business. What will they say about your organisation when they leave? Will they be future customers or suppliers? Will they go to competitors, and if so, what will they feel inclined to share? By providing outplacement, they will feel as if you cared for their future welfare despite the business circumstance. Do not under-estimate the power of this goodwill into your business’ future.
Outplacement encourages people to move on to the next chapter in their lives in a positive and constructive way. It can therefore be a useful tool to minimise the risk of potential legal actions such as unfair dismissal brought by an unhappy exited employee.
Restructuring can often leave remaining staff feeling demoralised, unmotivated and anxious. Offering redundancy support through outplacement enhances employee morale and improves staff retention.
