Due to several successful tenders our client has a rare opening for either a Senior or Principal Civil/Structural/Bridge Engineer to join the business to lead, and consult, with clients and key stakeholders around rail bridge projects. As part of the role, you will act as a/the technical design guru driving key client solutions and work in a team of award winning and highly experienced engineers. You will understand the intricacies of rail bridge design and how it integrates with other disciplines in the design and construct phase. Essential Criteria

-A minimum of a degree in Civil Engineering, ideally a Masters, although not essential
-Solid to extensive experience in designing, and leading, the design on rail bridge projects, ideally in an engineering consultancy environment, although this is not essential
-A customer centric mindset with exemplary stakeholder management skills
-Strong communication and influencing skills
-Ability to work well in a team environment, supporting junior engineers as a mentor
-At Principal level, we would expect the ability to manage projects well and have a ‘big picture mindset’ with eyes open to opportunities to further enhance the client’s reputation and expand their portfolio of clients
-Australian citizenship or permanent residency required as company does not have the ability to sponsor Benefits
Why is this a rare opening? Because the business has a culture most engineering businesses can only dream of - inclusivity, support, family values based environment, professional development opportunities, an importance placed on work/life balance, one team ethos and a generous remuneration and benefits package.
