About the role
The role of the HRBP is to support various client groups across several communities across NSW. Building trusted relationships is essential from the beginning in this role in order to understand the opportunities, challenges and complexities unique to each client group, and to engage with the stakeholders to identify and work through solutions and deliver outcomes. There is a big focus on capability building across the business, and this role will be involved in the identification of opportunities to develop people, as well as day to day HR activities and projects.

Supported by centres of excellence across the HR function, this role will rely on their expertise as an HR Generalist to provide trusted guidance to their stakeholders, whilst leveraging on the Centres of Excellence to provide specific resources.
 

About you
To be successful in this position, you will be able to:
  • Demonstrate your experience building trusted relationships with a variety of challenging stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate your experience working in challenging and complex environments.
  • Demonstrate your expertise across the full HR Generalist remit in a HR Consultant or HR BP capacity in areas such as Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Capability Building and Succession Planning, Projects, and cyclical HR.
  • Work at least 3 days per week in the office located in Parramatta and Sydney CBD. 2 days per week can be worked from home.
  • Travel to service sites in regional NSW locations at least every 2nd month.
You will ideally have:
  • Qualifications in HR, Commerce or Business (majoring in HR) and at least 3-6 years experience in the above capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of systems, data and reporting.
  • The appetite to work in a dynamic, complex and future focused organisation.
  • Teamwork and collaboration ingrained in your professional persona.
