Section Manager/Project Manager/BDM – Electrical – Industrial/HV

The Company:

My client is a leading electrical contractor, renowned for high-quality standards and a solid track record of delivering across a number of industry sectors. With their business gaining positive momentum in WA and a steady stream of work confirmed, they are now looking to expand their Perth operations with a driven Section Manager/Project Manager/BDM to cover construction and service projects within the industrial sector. 
  
The Position:

In this role, you will be a key part of the management team; working with the Senior Managers both locally and interstate providing input on projects, estimates, business strategy, operations, team development, commercials, business development & staff. You will be working across a range of clients both metro and regional within the industrial and resources space. 
  
Key Responsibilities:   

• Day to day operations of HV Electrical Projects & Service
• P&L, Budgeting, Forecasting & Account Management etc.
• Identify and develop potential opportunities for business growth by creating and following up on new client opportunities
• Quoting work for service and projects; assisting the estimation team
• Manage and coordinate a team of HV electricians
• Maintaining all relevant safety processes, quality and compliance documentation to a high standard
• Comply and drive company process and procedures
• Effectively plan and managing multiple jobs at any one time taking into consideration hours, labour and material requirements  

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrable and successful electrical project management experience in a similar business environment 
• Strong local network in Western Australia for client development purposes - ideally a record of landing contracts and clients
• Possess the drive and motivation to further develop a division
• Strong IT literacy and the ability to use financial and planning software
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload - exceptional time management
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and colleagues
