Service Manager/BDM – Electrical Contracting

The Company:

My client is a leading electrical contractor, renowned for high-quality standards and efficient delivery of projects. With their business gaining positive momentum and a steady stream of work in the pipeline they are now looking to expand their Perth operations with a driven Service Manager/BDM to work with maintenance/service clients and on installation projects up to a certain dollar value.
  
The Position:

As the Service Manager/BDM, you will be a key part of the Project team; working with the Senior Managers providing input on projects, estimates, business strategy, operations, team development, commercials, business development & staff retention. You will be working across a range of clients in the commercial, government and light industrial space.
  
Key Responsibilities:   

• Day to day operations of the Service Division and Electrical Projects 
• P&L, Budgeting, Forecasting & Account Management etc.
• Identify and develop potential opportunities for business growth by creating and following up on new client opportunities
• Quoting work for service and minor works, obtaining client feedback and maintaining relationships
• Supervise/Manage a team of service electrician responsible for managing client service
• Maintaining all relevant safety processes, quality and compliance documentation to a high standard within the service department
• Effectively plan and managing multiple jobs at any one time taking into consideration hours, labour and material requirements  

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrable and successful electrical service/project management in a similar business environment with at least 4 years’ experience gained at this level
• Sound understanding of the electrical contracting market and have a WA Electrical License
• Good IT literacy and ability to use financial and planning software
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload - exceptional time management
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and colleagues
