This role is a valued business partner responsible for providing sound commercial and customer focused advice and support to the HR team and the business around employee relations.
Working in a supportive HR team, you will be responsible for case management with a focus on running investigations and assisting in setting up the ER strategy.
The purpose of the Senior Workplace Relations Specialist role is to assist the HR Manager and team of HR Business Partners to manage employment risks by providing high quality, timely, independent advice around workplace relations. The role will also support the business by implementing appropriate systems and procedures to deliver high quality and best practice ER/IR advice to the business.
REQUIRED SKILL SET
To be suitable for this position, you will have an in-depth understanding of employment law, ER and HR best practice to provide advice about an array of employment issues faced by the business. You will be hands on operationally, managing the day to day ER/IR matters and provide support and coaching to the business and HR team around workplace relations best practice.
This position reports into the Head of Human Resources and works alongside an IR Manager. It will engage regularly with the entire HR team and broader business.
