An exciting startup that is disrupting the construction industry with AI and data driven technology has launched in Sydney. With a joint venture and funding from once of Australia’s leading construction companies this business is ready to take on this market at a global scale. Already they have made inroads with companies across APAC and USA. Their mission is to help aid construction companies to complete their projects on time and within budget. They do this by collecting, analysing and providing live data to these business for project planning, and crisis management prevention.
They are seeking a talented Fullstack engineer to join their business based near North Sydney.
They are a small tech team that is built of software engineers and front end developers and Data Scientists. A lot of their platforms are automated and I need someone who is a passionate Fullstack engineer with a flair and interest for DevOps. Ideally you will have a couple of years worth of experience in a similar role or be a recent graduate with the passion to build and create something. It's an exciting opportunity to join a business and be one of the first staff to grow and develop with the company. What else are you doing with your life? ;-)
Here’s what’s needed:
- Previous working experience developing full stack web applications
- Server side development with JavaScript (Node.js & GraphQL)
- Front end development skills with React, ES6
- Comfortable with databases such as PostgreSQL and best practices around interacting with them
- Writing tests and knowing how to write testable code
- Comfortable with version control e.g. GIT
- Understanding of software development and design principles
- Understanding of coding standards
Other skills that are ideal but not mandatory:
Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools e.g. Bitbucket pipelines, Terraform etc
Hands-on commercial experience with cloud ecosystems such as Azure (preferred), AWS or Google Cloud
Experience with CI/CD process Docker/Docker Compose
Understanding of AI advantage, interest in AI essential
