Sydney's premier mobile application development company is searching for a highly capable Senior Android Developer/engineer to join their business. Joining a medium sized team other Android developers, a wider tech team of about 20 you will flex your Android muscles and contribute to core development for the business. 

You will be sticking to what you love and focusing on building and developing native Android apps. That's it. 

The business has built out numerous mobile applications for some incredible business in Australia. They pride themselves on delivery quality applications for their clients and develop everything in house here in Sydney.

They are growing and building a great culture of paced development of quality applications. This is an immediate start so if you  feel you have the relevant experience that's outlined below, want to develop your skills as a senior engineer, join a team that loves building cool stuff - then get ready.

You will be in safe hands, with a talented team to aid you and support you to practice your craft of mobile software engineering. You will be working on developing complex Android apps, learn best design principles, TDD, architecture, AGILE delivery and clean code. This team parks their egos at the door and will bring out the best developer in you, they also celebrate in your success and know how have a good time as well. 

Ideally you have a couple of years experience under your belt, are an active member to the community (in your own way, maybe you go to meetups, maybe you contribute a heap on Github/Stackoverflow, maybe you spend your time working on an Android app that is your passion project in your spare time).

What's needed:

• Extensive technical experience in building native Android applications - professional experience with Kotlin would be ideal

• Love and passion for mobile and a good attitude 

• The ability to communicate and influence others with your passion for clean coding/development

• The desire to build the best quality apps
• Familiarity with design architecture and  for Android and software principles

Technical experience:

• Knowledge of Software architecture and design patterns

• Multi threading 

• TDD experience 

• CI/CD

• Experience building native apps with Kotlin and Java

• Knowledge of Android Libraries  

• Dependency Injections

• Degree in Software Engineering is ideal but not mandatory

The salary on offer is between $120,000 - $130,000 + super depending on experience, expertise and leadership abilities.
