My client is a busy creative agency in the CBD. They create and deliver brand, web and multi-faceted campaign solutions working strategically and tactically with their clients across a broad range of business sectors. They’re on the hunt for an ambitious and talented designer with the ability to craft innovative and inspiring creative concepts and develop them through a mixed variety of channels.
You will need to be passionate about what you do and confident in communicating ideas. You should be comfortable with producing finished product and always go the extra mile to deliver outstanding work.
Demonstrable experience in delivering quality design across multiple platforms (including everything from branding to websites, experiential to social campaigns) is a necessity, as is an strong eye for style, beautiful layouts and typography. Experience in designing websites and projects utilising digital media to deliver creative outcomes are essential for this role.
Suitable candidates would need around 3+ years integrated design experience in an agency or commercially similar environment and have an ability to work as part of their creative team or take the lead on a project as required. The client operates with an account management team and you will need to work collaboratively with them on a project-by-project basis.
Requirements:
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently
• A portfolio showcasing curiosity and proficiency across a range of design disciplines
• A keen eye for detail and layout
• Presentation skills – ability to talk through creative concepts and ideas to clients
• Clear communication with the ability to pitch and present work with confidence
• A wide range of technical skills in all aspects of print and digital
• Good working knowledge of design best practices
