Junior/Mid Digital Project Manager

A leading boutique web and mobile application development company is seeking a talented junior-mid level Project Manager to join their business. 

The business has gone for strength to strength over the past decade and has worked with some of the most successful start-ups and companies that Australia has produced. They pride themselves on delivery of quality applications for their clients and develop everything in house in Sydney. You will support the business' Project Manager with task's that will utilise your high level of organisational, communication and data management skills. You'll love talking with clients about project deliveries, scope and updates. You'll also be involved in working with developers, designers and other team members on how to gather this data and deliver it to clients. 

Some of the day to day duties may include:

• Planning and implementing projects 
• Managing budgets
• Allocate project resources
• Create schedule and project timeline
• Track deliverable's
• Support and direct team
• Lead quality assurance
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions

Ready to take the next step? Here's what's needed: 

Your technical Experience:

• At least 1 year experience working in a digital agency, product or software studio environment as a producer, PM or Account Manager
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Understanding of common web & mobile technologies (Ruby on Rails, various JavaScript, iOS/Android)
• Understanding in Project Management tools such as JIRA or similar
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Passion for web and mobile technologies
• Excel skills (use this for budget/spreadsheet calculations)

Soft Skills:

• High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
• Be able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders in a confident manner
• Big Picture thinking
• Ability to prioritise workloads and conflicting requirements
• Ability to manage various project simultaneously 
• Strong understanding of project costing and project profitability / ROI management
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
