Come in and set up the Employee and Industrial Relations Framework in supportive and flexible environment where you are the ER/IR SME. Autonomous position for a ER/IR Leader looking for both an operational and strategic position.
As the Employee and Industrial Relations Manager, you will set up the ER/IR framework and support a team of HR Business Partners, working closely with the Group HR Director, CEO and Legal in both an operational and strategic focused position.
This is a varied position that will involve; providing employee and industrial relations advice, complex investigation, mediation, EA strategy planning and negotiation , development of ER and IR strategies, monitoring compliance with Enterprise Agreements and Common Law Contracts, preparation of documentation for mediation, management of employment claims, unfair dismissals and general protection matters, preparing and collating documents to respond to industrial and employee relations matters, coaching and building capacity of leaders to manage industrial relations effectively. You will also be responsible for attending and representing the organisation at JEG meetings through the commission.
Opportunity to come in and set the IR strategy, working closely with the ELT and the HR Business Partners. You need to have the drive and dedication to implement the framework, processes and policies and then drive this across the business. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an employment law, industrial relations or human resources leadership/management setting accompanied by strong industrial relations negotiation and advocacy skills and business acumen.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in employment law, industrial relations and/or a related field. Demonstrated ability to represent and advocate in the Fair Work Commission and other courts and tribunals.
Leadership experience in the development and implementation of negotiation and bargaining strategies, and the dispute resolution process for Industrial Instruments and industrial matters.
