The Head of Business Partnering will help to build capability within the HR team with a focus on building capability across the business in both an operational and strategic focused position.
Reporting to the Executive Leader of Human Resources, your remit will cover both operations and strategy. This will include supporting the HR team- developing and building capability, working with key stakeholders to drive the overall HR strategy and drive continued change. You will also be responsible for overseeing and managing employee and industrial relations matters/escalations- a strength in this area is required for the current operations of the business. Initially there will be a focus on employee and industrial relations, putting together strategies, building capabilities and educating the business, moving forward, you will have the opportunity to work across and drive HR projects which will include; succession planning, leadership development and employee engagement initiatives. To execute this you will work closely with the HR and L&D teams who will be rolling this out based on your guidance.
THE REQUIRED SKILL SET
This is a great opportunity that will suit a HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner who has led HR teams and likes to get hands on as well as be part of the overall HR strategy. You will need solid experience in employee and industrial relations to be able to build the capability and handle escalations (along with an IR expert). You like to roll your sleeves up and work in a fast paced, outcomes focused environment and are not shy of driving change.
